Helllooooo Gems! If you've been keeping an eye on the calendar then you'll know the March event is very nearly upon us! We're dishing out some more details for you now so that you can start planning and slam facefirst into the event post when it goes up.

March's event will be an age swap event! Gems will find themselves forcibly made older or younger and they won't be able to turn back! This can be either a purely physical change or it may also involve a mental change! The only thing that remains constant is that all characters will retain their memories of their CR and the bare basics of the setting regardless of what changes occur.

As usual, the rest of the details will go up with the event post. This announcement is for you guys to plot and scheme and ask anything you might want to know before Sunday!

We also have a few other announcements for you!

The fall season will begin on the 21st. Swallow an entire pumpkin whole. Just do it.

We're also please to let everyone know that we will now be allowing strikes during Activity Check! This means that if you find yourself having a hard time meeting AC for any given month you may opt to take a strike, essentially giving you a free pass on that month's AC. In return, you must provide two proofs of activity when next month's AC rolls around.

This is also the last call to let us know who you'd love to see us asking for on our ATP ad!

So in Homestuck, there is an alternate version of Jade (Grandma English) who is an old rebellious grandma from an alternate earth where Jade was "born" in the early 1900s instead of the 1990s. She and Jade are the same person genetically, but they come from different timelines, and therefore have different memories. Would it be acceptable for Jade to become Grandma English for this event with alter-memories to boot, or should I just age her up without the alternate timeline shenanigans?

You could definitely age Jane up to have the same appearance and general personality, yes! However, since Jade and Grandma English are separate characters, Jade would not gain her memories with the age-up.

Also, if the character's personality has been regressed, could they have a moment of clarity where they slip back into their current one?

Characters are stuck as they are for the duration of the event! So this would encompass mental/personality changes as well as physical.
