First is that Marie will be stepping down as a mod. She really helped get things off the ground, but feels like it's time to move on. We wish her the best! TOra has been really helping with a lot of housework so hopefully it won't be difficult moving on ourselves, but we'll let the playerbase know if we are looking for assistance!
Second is a reminder and note about the IC:OOC ratio of time.IC:OOC time ratio to work-- while you should be following the guidelines in the playing basics section, there seems to be a LOT of confusion, and it makes it kind of hard to make new posts!
For example,there are posts to the comm at Day 35, Afternoon 36, Evening 39 (???) and Day 38. Lots of hopping around, and people that are backdating their posts aren't making note of it, which I think is adding to the confusion-- people check the last post on the comm, see that it's Day 24, and make the next post at Day 25 without realizing that the Day 24 post was backdated, and that the general community is already up to Day 27.
So withany backdated posts, please remember to NOTE that it is backdated in the WHEN: portion of the post template, just so people can see right there as they're making a post.
Essentially, while we're flexible with time, generally an IC day should never finish within an OOC day; open posts should never skip several IC days, etc.!
ANYWAY you guys are doing awesome, and it sucks to reiterate this stuff so I hope this is generally helpful as a formal announcement just because it can make it hard on new players to even know how to approach the timeline.
