The long and short of it is, this is an interest check.

February has snuck up on us pretty fast! And of course, Hallmark Card day is just around the corner. Now, Mettaton has a decent (if not rose-tinted) knowledge of human culture, enough to know that Valentine's Day is a day of romance! Drama! Hopefully not bloodshed! So my proposal is how would you guys feel about a Valentine's Day Dance? Just a nice little get-together to celebrate the romantic season - or, if you'd rather, to join together in the camaraderie of being single.

Hey, guys! It's been a while. This is Arc, bringing back Sadness from the movie Inside Out! She's a thinker and the one who comes up with the most logical ideas but she's also pessimistic, as is her nature. She was here once before and remembers her time here, so she still has her old Empathy and Minor Weather Manipulation powers! (The latter is just for her to summon a personal cloud to ride on. Faster than walking.) She will be somewhat glad to see familiar faces and new ones alike and will have somewhat better confidence in herself due to her friends helping her while she was here before.

I will be making a permissions post for her Empathy tonight and I will link it here when it's done and on plurk. Basically unless you give the okay or say it's okay in a thread her empathy will not automatically work when speaking to someone else. (And it doesn't work well if the other is really good at hiding their emotions.)
