+1 uncute tomboy (again)

Hey. This is bii and I'm back after months of being gone with one of my characters again: an angry tomboy (who doesn't like admitting she's a tomboy) named Akane Tendo. Akane's from Ranma 1/2 which was a long-runing shonen manga in the 90s about people who are cursed turn into other things when splashed with cold water (and revert back to normal with warm.) Akane doesn't actually have one of these curses, but the guy who her dad arranged for her to marry did and she basically had a long, ridiculous, and stressful year in her canon before landing in Waverly Bay at the beginning of last summer. She stuck around until early fall, at which point her notoriously bad cooking turned lethal and she ended up poofing herself via a bitter almond cake.

Connie's been taking care of her gem since then, but now Akane's finally coming back... to a Waverly Bay that's had a lot of changes. Anyway! I'm looking forward to having her here again. She is Hella Issues especially when it comes to Boys and Sex but we've got a handy counselor in Waverly Bay (hi Harley!) so hopefully they'll be getting better.

hello, cosmographia! my name is isak and i'm bringing you an original character, lev kagan.

lev is from a fantasy setting of mine, based on eastern european folklore and lovecraftian lore. he's 29, a little under the weather and a very and gentle and amiable type ... who struggles very hard to keep a leash on his temper, his jealousy and his insecurity and clinginess. he is not fully mortal -- one of his parents was a powerful immortal spirit -- and it's the source of his illness. his mortal half is warring with his immortal half (or was, until he became a gem) and he's slowly dying due to it. but now that he's a rock, he's ... not going to die, though he'll still experience symptoms.

he's coming in after a tumultuous time in his life, since he found out that the love of his life is actually a notorious dark magician and cultist (and serial killer's accomplice) and one lev had an obsession with a few years back, to boot, so he's reeling from that and from the stress of an apparent murder spree in his neighbourhood. he's going to be secretly glad to be away from the stress of it all ...

his gem is carnelian! and his app is here, if you wanna take a look. you can ask me questions on more detail about his setting or whatever, too! his appearance doesn't fully match his icons right now, i'm working on getting drawn icons soon. the differences are mentioned in his stats and permissions post.

Hi, I'm Nick and I don't know how to introduce myself anymoooooooooooooooooooooooooore

but I'm also bringing Patchouli Knowledge from Touhou Project here. As a general rule, she is kind of a quiet sort who would much rather spend time with her books and so on, but she can branch out once in a while! She's also not the nicest person and can be very critical and, frankly, kind of a butt. However, her gem will help take the edge off.

(Her gem is amethyst of course because I am super uncreative)

Hi everyone, my name is Sheepy and I have no self-control.

"But Sheepy," You may ask, "Didn't you just bring in a new character?" To which I say I DO WHAT I WANT DON'TJUDGE ME don't look at me I'm gem trash

So this here is Yuyuko Saigyouji, my second (and last, I swear) character here. She comes from a canon where cute girls drink entirely too much, youkai have passive aggressive arguments, and a red-and-white shrine maiden solves mysteries with copious amounts of violence (but they're spell card duels so its okay, she says as she blinds you with bullets and steals your girlfriend and your booze. Such a rude shrine maiden). Before coming to Waverly Bay, Yuyuko was a ghost who wielded the power of death. But she doesn't let that get her down. She comes off as very cheerful and a bit dim, but looks can be extremely deceiving.

As a gem, she will start off with the ability to communicate with other gems. Initially, this will manifest itself as very rudimentary speech to and understanding of rampaging gems. Eventually, she may even be able to communicate with other non-affected gems remotely.

She also likes food. A lot.
