HEY WHOA WHO'S THIS NEW FACE - hey, it's Holo, and I figured I'd had enough of a break from playing a character after hiatusing then dropping Walter earlier in the month (whhhhich...I think I forgot to mention here, it's been a busy few weeks), so say hello to Mewtwo!

It's from Pokemon Special aka Pokemon Adventures, which is one of the various Pokemon manga and the one people generally have heard of. It's different from the famous anime/movie Mewtwo in a lot of ways, which...I will let speak for themselves!

One of those ways is that it doesn't use telepathy to communicate by default. In fact, it currently doesn't have telepathy as a power, which is fine because if it did have it probably wouldn't use it - Mewtwo is only comfortable sharing its thoughts with people it trusts enough to call its trainer or close to it, except in emergency situations.

So, for the time being, it'll communicate nonverbally, through gestures and actions, like an average Pokemon would. I definitely don't mind characters thinking of or treating Mewtwo like a regular Pokemon/animal companion kind of character, since it's way closer to that in Special than it is in the anime, even when it does use telepathy!

Here's my second, my protag from FF14, a fantastic MMO and my home game after playing almost every MMO on the market over the years.

Her name is Madhuri, an Au Ra (a horned, lizard-tailed people rumored to descend from dragons but that's a little shaky) Bard. Her typical way of life is cabaret performance as well as nomadic song and dance, and dresses to fit every aspect of this. She is an all-in, rather passionate person to others, but is rather hesitant to those who return it...

Here in Waverly Bay, she's trading her bow for a weapons-grade gem guitar, and will be awakening to an array of music-based abilities. She's here to listen to your stories, hear every genre of music, and be absolutely fascinated by everything while being just a little bit of a flirt. Otherwise, she'll aim to provide a beneficial soundtrack in the battles to come, because who doesn't want sweeping scores while you're kicking ass?
