JUNE IS THE MONTH OF JUNE BIRTHSTONES FEELING PAIN APPARENTLY
Helloooooo everyone this is Usagi, Masumi and Gongenzaka's mun here, with some news from myself and Fearless, the player for Yuuya.
As those on plurk may have heard already, we have some BIG PLANS for the tail end of the month; specifically, to make sure it's not in the way of any previously made plans and such, it'll be going down from the 28th to the 30th--though as usual, back tags are more than welcome there, and we're actually making sure the post set-up is especially open to it. (These days just make the range for the two posts it'll cover)
So what's going on? Well glad you asked. Fearless and I have something coming in two parts; and the first part is actually pretty cheery! Basically, Yuuya and Gongenzaka are gonna fuse into a relatively tall guy known as 'Blue Apatite'.
And as you can see from the sketch in the second image, their standard form has only two arms! They're SUPER BROS after all.)
The fusion will be making a post for that wonderous occasion, and overall they'll be like that for about eight IC hours, with Fearless and I tagging people like any other standard post would go--though two lucky muses who have gotten involved with Gongenzaka and Yuuya's card shenanigans will get to duel them as well (that's where the split arms come in). (Part of the duration is to emphasize that this is a pretty stable fusion!)
The happy can only last so long though, and that's where PART TWO comes in.
During this time, we're expecting to see another member of the Arc-V cast joining in--namely 'Shun Kurosaki'! In a second post concerning the fusion, Shun's going to challenge Blue Apatite to a duel, and during this stage of the game people will be able to chat and mingle as they watch a great big show of Action Dueling in Yuuya's room.
And that is when everything will go to shit.
Shun's dueling is going to trigger a secondary personality in Yuuya, known as 'Berserk mode'. The state will cause the location of the door to vanish (thus locking everyone inside the room temporarily), and the scenery to vanish as well as the fusion locks itself together and throws itself into a violent state of rage. Yuuya's power of invisibility combines now with Gongenzaka's shield power--which in this stage, can absorb solid materials to reflect back as well--and now everyone in the room will have to fight that off! (Not fun, given that it means your only clue to his location is an occasional shiny shield)
So this post here is acting as a heads up for that. At the end of the day, the fusion battle will come to an end when Gongenzaka snaps back against his berserk partner to lock them in place until something can split them via 'Sustained Damage', but with the 'event' as it is, Fearless and I thought...
Well. It'd probably be really great to let people plot about this wouldn't it! Whether about some shenanigans with Blue Apatite in their normal state, or some combat ideas for the second half--so how about it?
