BERSERK PLANNING AND TRACKING TIME!

Hello everyone, it's Usagi here again! After some chatting around on Plurk, it was realized that it's probably a good idea to have some sort of planning/tracking post around for player events, so da-da-da-daaaa!

That's what this is. Basically, until Fearless and I start the post(s) for what's being known as 'Berserk Fusion', this post can be used to plan out how the details of that should even go. Just to get things hammered into place, y'know?

After that (or even during, though it'd be nice to keep it to 'after'), when the actual event is running, this post can be used and tracked to make sure you're not missing out on anything going on. The handy bit of this is that it means people who don't have a plurk, or don't have the right people on plurk, can stay filled in. So hooray for that right?

Now then.

THE PLOT

As noted over here, there's going to be two parts to the Berserk Fusion event. The first part is the fusion itself; a post will go up on Sunday, June 28th, where people can tag and chat it up with 'Yuuenzaka' or 'Blue Apatite'. This post has no issues, no plot, or anything--so if anything, that's going to be really back tag friendly!

Then there's the big part. Part two! Going up on June 30th, this up coming Tuesday, is the actual Berserk Fusion proper. This comes in three parts:

Part 1: Kurosaki Shun and Blue Apatites's duel. This is treated partially as a Mingle; there'll be a specific section where people can comentate in threads between themselves, but otherwise, until the 'end' of the match, the two can't be interrupted (though if addressed in a mingle, they MAY shout something back to you!).

Part 2: The duel sours, and the fight begins. The first bit is going to be stuck with whoever can comment at the time, as Shun's actions in the duel trigger Yuuya's 'berserk' mode--thus bringing it forth from Blue Apatite.

As soon as he snaps, he's going to go invisible, and this is where the fun begins! Since they have Gongenzaka's shield, they can absorb and rebound all attacks heading their way--provided it connects with the shield. Know what this is great for?

POT SHOTS. Which means that for part two, anyone and everyone can tag between themselves, against the fusion only...it's all up to you here, and very easy to back-tag as long as you're not aiming to be the one taking him down.

NOTE. This is also where I need to know where you all stand, permissions wise! Do you want Blue Apatite to injure you somehow? How much? You could even end up poofed if you want--so let us know about that!

Part two does have to come to an end though, and that's largely what needs to be discussed. At the moment, there's an idea of one option so far--at some point, Blue Apatite has the opportunity and drive to aim a blow toward Steven. For those who dont know, Steven has been acting as Gongenzaka's student for the past while--so this act becomes enough for Gongenzaka to wrench control back from the berserk fusion, which leaves a window for everyone to attack until the fusion splits!

What needs to be decided though of course is 1) how to get Steven that terror-window, and 2) who all strikes to split the fusion when that window arises.

...And then there's what follows.

Part 3: Part three is what happens after they split. You'd think it'd be over! BUT NOPE. Yuuya will still be fighting off berserk mode--now, in this state he's stationary. Loud, but stationary. This means that as harmless as he is however, he might still look like a threat. So really, this bit is more reactionary...will you attack him still?

Or wait to see what happens?

That's all there is folks, so let the planning begin! Before the second post goes up, I'll be updating this one so that we can keep track of things properly! If there are any questions or concerns about how this post in particular was made, let me know as well--I wanna make this as easy to keep up with as possible after all.

CURRENT PLOT MOMENT FOR THE EVENT

At this point, while threads in the Peanut Gallery and Battle can be worked on through any date, there is a goal to bring things to the end by Monday. At the present, the following is going on:

> Ichigo and Shun narrowly escaped the initial pursuit attack from Yuuenzaka/Blue Apatite.
> From here, the Fusion attempted to attack Pinkie Pie and also Ralph by extension. > He is at some point however distracted by Masumi and Dennis...
> ...And then is attacked by Zac, eventually throwing the man off to the side where he crashes into Yang.
> Steven and Connie also attempt to snap sense into Yuuenzaka, but unfortunately realize they need more help--though confusing the fusion briefly allows Gongenzaka to regain control enough to warn the others to run.
> Jane also attempts to stop the fusion.
> During this time, Ichigo is rallying others to STOP ATTACKING, as Yuuenzaka's shield is now capable of rebounding Physical Damage!

For the ending to begin, it will be a Round Two of sorts from Shun to Yuuenzaka. Other muses involved with this ending will be tagging in as needed (And they are currently Steven, and potentially Connie and Rose and Greg, depending on how those four handle their threads).

The ending otherwise has no further involvment until Stage Three, which as well will be short... Stage Three as it is, is now officially going to lack further attack. It will be reactions and fun! HOORAY..

Pinkie will DEFINITELY be there for the first post (GOTTA ooh and ahhh over the new fusion!) and to watch the duel.

When berserking starts, though, she'll be trying to talk them down and probably shouting for Subaru's help keeping an "eye" on them if he's around.

And finally, lots and lots of cooldown hugs, and trying to get anybody that attacks him to stop. (And taking care of Gon's gem, because he gets poofed during this, right?)

Dennis hasn't even been accepted yet but I'm putting this here anyway because like hell is Peridot getting involved in this

anyway this will probably be a super good and not at all off-putting first impression of fusion. this kind of fusion, anyway. seeing two of his "friends" mashed into a single person is weird and a little uncomfortable, but he'll roll with it. definitely gonna stick around for the duel, at least.

when things go south, he'll gladly serve as a distraction, because being loud and attention-grabbing is kind of his whole thing, and inevitably get something broken in the process. nothing that'll put him out of action for long, but not all of his ribs will be coming out of this intact

And of course I am all for Shun being one of the main ones to split the fusion because HAHAHA GUIIIIIILT.

USAGI FORGOT TO MENTION;

Yuuya generally remembers very little about what goes down while he's in Berserk Mode. If you ask him about it afterwards, he'll just say he doesn't know anything about it.

Ichigo's going to be involved in all of this, of course.

During Blue Apatite's berserking around, she'll likely try to rally others and explain what she knows about Gongenzaka's shield.

After the split... well, she's probably going to have WORDS. So many words. Whether or not those words will be helpful in any way, shape or form remains to be seen.

I definitely want to have Yang view this match because she needs to learn of the wonders of Duel Monsters. 8'D

I'm also super interested in having her participate in the fight against Blue Apatite, particularly since one of her gem powers works somewhat similarly to Gon's shield and it could be a really cool exchange. She's pretty tough so I'd be fine with her taking some standard battle damage, but no poofing.

She does have some CR with Steven as his bigger big sis, so perhaps that could help with putting him in the way of Blue Apatite somehow?

As for part 3, I'll probably play that by ear as Yang's reactions tend to be case-by-case. If she's still capable of fighting, and Yuuya is looking like a threat she'll probably attack him purely with the intent to knock him out, but that's just one possibility.

Link can discover the power from his event- weapon fusion. So he can probably blast Gon Yu with something very strong.

Jane will definitely be there for the first part and the duel, when shit goes down. As for doing things, she'll definitely try to calm them with her power, but that only lasts for a little while and she'd have to find them first. Other than that, I'm down to put her anywhere.

ANYWAY YES other than Shun dealing final blows, I'm fairly open to him getting injured - maybe not broken bones this time around, sadly (unless it was like. a broken wrist or something. GRAB HIM AND THROW HIM VIOLENTLY BY IT OBVS).
