She's already got the rundown on this whole gem thing; she was already the soul of a warboat, so accepting she's also a kickass gem warrior was actually pretty easy to swallow, especially since she landed in a bay. It felt like home already.
Speaking of swallowing, you'll notice she's got a bunch of fried snacks in each hand, taking a bite from one, then the other, letting crumbs get all over her face. She was more used to rations and fuel and metal and Japanese style cuisine, but this stuff was not bad at all.]
Yanno, I could get used to this if they keep making food this way here. You really can't beat a hot meal while the cool sea breeze flows through your hair. Ahh, if only the others were here.
