[Hearing all that made her feel a little better, in a way. Not that she enjoyed his misery, but at the very least that there was somebody genuinely bothered with what was going on.]

[It was a start?]

I'm... one of two Alchemists in a small village called Colseit. We... do things! Like... look into why water isn't flowing, or to research old ruins, or to make things for Central and around town. It's a lot of work, but I'm happy to do it.

I'm... not worried about me... well, okay, I might be a little... but I'm the only one back home that can make things like... potions and stuff. And I don't think Central's going to send somebody to cover me for... gosh, maybe ever?

It's all... a lot to take in.
