Makoto blinked at Rise. She made it sound like she had and, sure enough, her words confirmed it. There were others worlds out there? With ponies?? Makoto gasped at the words gems. That's right! He was... a gem now? He was still trying to work that out as he unbottoned his shirt by a few and stretched out the color of his undershirt, eyes widening at the gem right over his heart.

"This can't be happening," He muttered, needing desperately to sit down. Makoto was just a normal teenaged boy, his only extraordinary thing was that he was really good at backstroke and teaching kids to swim! Not... not a gem that fought monsters!
