My name was Seiren. A fairy from Major Land. For the longest time I was selected to be the one to sing the beautiful Melody of Happiness. Then, my best friend, Hummy got the job. I got jealous and... and I joined Mephisto and helped him in trying to get the notes to play the Melody of Sorrow to plunge everything into, well, sorrow.

For the longest time, my foes were Cures Melody and Rhythm, who were trying to help Hummy get the notes. But, we got them first, captured Hummy and the Fairy Tones they used and were ready to perform the Melody. But, despite all of that, Hummy was... was still devoted to me and our friendship.

Something snapped and I... I changed. I turned human, became a Cure. But, I panicked and ran. Hummy was still insistent I was a good person, though. She... she helped me through everything. Drew out what I needed to be a hero, but I refused to do so. It was only when a young boy I met and his father were affected by that evil that I was finally given a reason to stand up and be a Cure.
