New Year's Festival Planning Post

Hi guys! This is a quick OOC planning post for the New Year's Festival so everyone has their eggs in one basket when the log goes up (and also... for my organizational needs HAHA OOPS). It'll be formatted similarly to the Tanabata log (a handy link for those of you who weren't around or who don't remember!) with toplevels for music, stalls and the new year countdown and of course, you'll all be free to throw up your own top levels and mingle.

I'd also like to ask that characters who tagged into the IC signups drop into this post, so I can organize a list of who's going to be volunteering and performing. Otherwise, use this post to make plans, ask questions and generally work out what you want to make of this log!

Jane Crocker will be providing a stand full of delicious baked goods for the festival, as well as performing some piano onstage! Thida and Asriel, however, are going to be wandering around, so they're up for anything.

Alice signed up to do lighting and will be backstage for a lot of it, but she'll probably come out once in a while, because she needs breaks, too. I apologize if she does anything weird with the lights (let's be realistic, she'll probably make them say "dance riot" or emoticon shapes when the place gets lively).

Haruka just got here, but she's not saying no to a party!

Kaneki Ken is going to be there; not actually running anything, but just there to enjoy the festivities because holy crap he's not sure how long it's been since he's been able to go to something like this.

He's completely free and open for plotting or interactions if anyone wants to do something with him!

Naomi will go, but participating in most activities she will not so drag her into a few many. Be the on-hand doctor, sure, she can do that.

So hey. Sonico promised Rise if she didn't feel up to performing by herself that she'd pair her up with someone. What if Kanami got asked to look after Rise for the performance?

Jade will be performing bass! She's mostly going to be doing backup for other people rather than headlining, but it's her first time actually performing in front of a crowd (and also her first time playing in like 3 years), so this will be more comfortable for her.

Ichigo didn't sign up to help, but she'll be bringing drinks anyway, as well as enjoying the Festival.

Velvet will also be attending, and ideally socializing more now that she's able to hover around again.

Mettaton signed up as a performer with his cousin, Napstablook, as sound mixer. He'll be singing and dancing primarily.

He might wander off to check out the other festivities here and there, as well.

SONiKA volunteered for music performances! Specifically Sonico has her synthesizing drums so she'll be like dancing around in the background while her jacket speakers play drum sounds. And background singing? Front singing? IDK BUT VOCALOIDS GOTTA SING...

I kind of want Fluttershy to perform, but she'll definitely need some encouragement.

Robin and Pyrrha will probably just be socializing.

Marla will be hawking T-shirts and other merchandise for the event, as well as taking a few short breaks to socialize and check out other festivities. She'll also be helping with the initial set-up and cleaning.

Napstablook will be the sound mixer for the event.

Still being new to this world and not yet having rebuilt her confidence completely, Rise is going to be performing with others rather than solo for now! Probably Kanami and/or Sonico depending on what the players have to say about it, but she can be available as backup for other CR too if anyone wants her. ♥
