The Beginning of The End

Hello Gems! As you can see, this Monthly Post is a bit more sparse than usual. Going forward, the Monthly Posts will be used solely to help progress the Endgame event and keep players up to date as to what's going on. It is also being rolled together entirely with the Activity Check post just to minimize the amount of housekeeping players need to keep up with. So with that said, here's your first announcement. April 8th - Starting from the 8th of April, Waverly Bay will suddenly see an influx of corrupted Gems trying to make their way into the Temple. While only small and relatively easy to repel, their numbers will slowly increase until they become a legitimate threat. Gems will also find themselves beginning to have troubling dreams, similar to those they were subjected to during the Dreamscape plot. April 27th - An NPC will arrive in the Temple, setting off the second phase of the Endgame plot. A short post will go up on April 8th to flesh out the details of the monsters that the Gems of Waverly Bay will be facing and to offer players a place to mingle. If you have any questions, please leave them below and let's go full force into Endgame!

Will our resident senior Gems be around for consultation during the first phase of the endgame?

Also, I know Hawk got the ability to talk back from the last event but does she still look...Hawk-ish, or is she kind of like how Centipeetle was in Steven Universe where she's sorta humanoid but also bird-ish.

Also also, are the troubling dreams about anything in particular or do Gems just wake up with the sense that they were having a nightmare but can't remember what it was about?

Due to mod availability, Tiger and Hawk will unfortunately not be around and fully NPC'd for the endgame but they will be 'around' and involving themselves in things. As usual, if you have any questions or the like for either of them, you can drop them on the event/monthly OOC post and get a response. Hawk is still mostly beastly but she should be able to give coherent responses to gems that want them.

As for troubling dreams, Gems will simply wake up feeling uneasy and aware that they were having a nightmare! They won't be able to remember any particular details.
