u already know how truly and deeply i love your adachi and how much your writing him has made me appreciate him as a character but it bears repeating like seriously i am constantly floored by how fucking on point you are in your characterization and voice and how you make him so interesting and?? complex??? and flawed but ultimately human without trying to make him a woobie baby or excuse his actions

basically sis is the best adachi 10/10 accept no substitutes and i'm fucking stoked to be playing with you in a game again, especially as a castmate!!!

I totally agree about how much of a relief it is that you write Adachi in a sympathetic way without glossing over his crimes or anything. He doesn't need any leather pants, thank you very much~♪

BUT AHHH thank you!!! that means a lot. like... adachi is my waifu and i think he's very interesting and obviously has Issues that i enjoy exploring and trying to work through BUT I'M STILL AWARE MY WAIFU IS SHIT LMFAO i wouldn't love him as much as i do if he wasn't a fuckhead, glossing over that is so damn lame the last thing i wanna do is give people the impression that i'm trying to gloss over stuff just because i also find him kinda sad and pitiable, so it makes me happy to hear this fgkjhkjfkl

Oh, I can relate to that. I have a few favorites with Major Issues of their own. I just happen to prefer the idea of acknowledging and addressing said issues rather than being all 'Issues, what issues? They are perfect cinnamon rolls who have never done anything wrong~ [Insert Blame-shifting here]'

I mean, putting aside all the obvious problems with that, where's the fun in that? Isn't it way more interesting to actually work with what canon provides...?

so real talk recently I was talking to somebody on Skype and they were telling me how the Kanji in their game is terribly OOC and one of my very first thoughts was "GOD WHY CAN'T MORE P4 PLAYERS BE LIKE LYNSEY"

because holy shit do you GET Adachi. like 100 fucking percent. I've only played through P4 once but you have him absolutely NAILED and its hella impressive. it's like he came straight out of the game and it makes him an unbelievable joy to thread with.

not to mention I will never ever be over him as part of Bill's harem
I swear I am going to die with so many ridiculous ships thanks to this game BUT I REGRET NOTHING

your adachi is SO GOOD, i mean i still haven't played persona 4 so i can't say anything about compared to canon but he's so nuanced and complex, it's great

I'm canonblind unfortunately, but I think Adachi is both hilarious and super interesting, your threads are so fun to read!

...also all you really need to know about his canon is it's the Jung Psychology Murder Mystery Power Hour with a giant dash of Tarot Card Bullshit and Adachi is one of the primary antagonists but his literal character introduction in game is him running off to vomit. he's just that kind of beautiful disaster, hilarious and interesting is the impression i aim to give haha

in college my roommate was super in p4 (this is the person I called who was like "WHY DO YOU CARE ALL OF A SUDDEN.") and I was like "uh-huh, uh-huh, banana dominatrix got it." but like. we didn't have the system it was for and person remained mostly A Thing My Friends Like.

THEN YOUR ADACHI HAPPENED?? and now for some reason I care about persona, but I don't know anything about persona.

Best Adachi honestly. You play him really well. It's so rare i see someone actually has a grasp of all aspects of his character- the psycho and the screwball and the silly nerd all in one package. Just an amazing job man, keep it up. It's always so much fun playing with you~
