Hey, everyone! This is Yue, who plays Dave Strider, and this time I'm bringing you guys the Batter from OFF!

Since OFF is a game that is widely open to individual player interpretations, I've left an info post up on my journal to give you guys an idea of how I've chosen to interpret the game for my portrayal of the Batter. It's a bit tl;dr, though, so the short version of it is that the Batter is a condescending, manipulative jerk with a messiah complex, and he just so happens to be very successful at masquerading as a benevolent savior. Mortis once mentioned that OFF was in part inspired by Paranoia Agent, and there are some obvious parallels between Lil Slugger and the Batter, so I see the Batter as a false prophet of sorts - one who offers the suffering masses an easy way out. But unlike Lil Slugger, the Batter's solution is a bit more permanent.
Anyway, he'll be a lot calmer in Cosmos because, as far as he's concerned, he's already completed his primary objective (see: beat everyone in his world to death with his bat so that they don't have to suffer anymore). Depending on how his stay goes, that may eventually change.

He's obsessed with purity and was created to be the ultimate father figure so he will probably have a soft spot for small children, but why would anyone let him near one?

Luckily, death is his last option. He reserves that for people who are either disgustingly impure (in his eyes) or live in a terrible, dystopic world filled with suffering. Waverly's a nice place, so he won't be beating any kids to death with his bat. Yet.

in this thread I ALMOST made a direct reference to OFF, but still kind of ended up alluding to characters like The Batter.
I have a feeling he and Bill are gonna have some very interesting CR~
