Hard to avoid sounding like something I've never heard. Emotions like romance and the battlefield don't mix.

[He says "romance" like it's a word that doesn't apply to him and that he doesn't even feel, let alone know. It's the verbal equivalent of someone holding a gross bit of trash out at arms' length.]

That'd depend on why it bothered you.

It might if I understood that area of emotions better, but as it is, I tune most insults and taunts out.

[He kind of had to learn to do that, dealing with Academia and their cries of "Xyz scum" and "Xyz dogs", like he and his world were less than human.]
