Hello, Cosmos! So for a while now, I and a couple of other players have been plotting a mini-event on plurk.

Here's the basic gist of it:
-Shun and Dave will accidentally fuse into Cuprite
-Since Shun is a war veteran who's experienced and done a lot of terrible things, this will go disastrously for Dave
-The mental toll will make Dave lock himself up in his room for a few days, where the stress eventually causes his gem to crack

SO. Know what this means? Monster event! It's going to go down in two parts:

1. Dave's body starts falling apart, and he realizes that he needs help and he needs it fast. He'll make a network post, but by the time that he does, his thoughts will have become a mostly incoherent jumble of rage and fear. He won't be replying much in this part of the plot, unless your character is someone or says something that would elicit a strong emotional response from him. At some point, though, he will be posting a picture of his location. Well, sort of. Terrible SBAHJ-styled drawings count, right?

2. The confrontation! Dave will be found on the outskirts of Waverly Bay, on the cliffside that overlooks the mountain of the multi-armed woman. He's not going to attack Waverly Bay itself, and he will only become hostile to characters who approach him, so if you aren't interested in this event, it'll be easy to sit out!

Anyway, by the time help arrives, it'll be too late to talk him down. A fight ensues, and at some point someone punches Dave's lights out and they either heal his gem or poof him. I'm cool with either. If he gets poofed, I'm totally going to use this as an opportunity to canon update him, however.

So basically, let's plot? Tell me if you're interested in taking part! All of this will be going down near the end of August.

So for anyone who hasn't heard me talking about this far too much on my timeline, Shun is getting poofed at the end of this event. I'm sorry it was just too good a chance for his first death here--

That aside, Shun's going to be present for the entire fight with Dave, so you might have to deal with this curmudgeonly asshole a lot bit. For obvious reasons, he's going to be completely unwilling to fuse, and for also obvious reasons Dave's going to be trying to murder him SO UH. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT, GUYS.

Oh yeah, and also Shun's likely to die to facilitate the final blow or eventual healing of the monster, so anyone in for dealing that or healing Dave may need to keep that in mind.

He'll almost definitely use them (or try to, given Dave has. Time powers and all that making melee combat a bit hard).

And also the fusion fuck-up is gonna be at the end of a training log involving those knives IF THAT COUNTS.

I keep going back and forth on whether I should get Ichigo involved in this mess. Probably, because if she sees the distress call, she's not the type who'll ignore it, and she'll definitely want to do everything she can to keep Dave's gem intact... especially since her fusion with Fluttershy was able to kinda help kickstart the healing process with Pearl.

Thing is, she'll also want to try and protect Kurosaki again, because even if he's still a butt, he's Yuto's butt, darn it. Whiiiich will only lead to tears, I imagine, since he's not getting out of this one alive.

Well. This is an interesting turn of events. Last night it was pretty much all but decided that neither Dave nor Shun would make it out of this alive and this would end in tears for everyone involved, but today Team Don't Crush Dave members are just springing out of the woodwork in droves and I don't even know what's going to happen anymore.

YEAH it's very likely to end in tears, especially since there was a tentative plan to have Yuuto show up just in time to watch Shun die. So yanno. Good luck dealing with that.

As long as she doesn't try to interfere with Shun keeping himself alive, he shouldn't be as abrasive as usual...? He knows this is pretty much his fault, after all.

Link is also going to be here the entire event and he's going to be following along Dave once he gets to Waverly Bay. He's going to be approaching, trying to calm him down and get the ass kicked from him

I'm all for Link being a candidate for putting his frend out of his misery unless anyone else wants to do something and its oka with ya Dave Mun

SO HEY THERE GUYS those who are intending to crush that gem of Dave's or even just poof, depending on how foolishly they phrase the idea, will be meeting opposition of the loneliest sort...

Which is good because that opposition is ridiculously overpowered.

Upon seeing this mess Masumi will be honing in on the first guy with a decent powerset who would be willing to work with her, and that is YUUGO.

Green Tourmaline

Their weapons are the nine sectioned chain whip, linked by electricity so that they can link up into a lance, but what is more deadly is their power. While Masumi's data collection becomes limited to something more akin to a battle sense, Green Tourmaline's lance is a lightning rod for energy based attacks, which they can absorb and reflect at will.

Primal fear powers go, clearly. Also man he's gonna be murderous as soon as he figures out Yuugo's in there...assuming he's not already dead or dying by that point.

Percy's definitely going to be involved in this. He thinks Dave's smart and clever and confident and while they may only be acquaintances Percy is going to help whether you like it or not. Heck, he might even fuse with Akoya again for more firepower if they need to.

The Beast is just gonna hang back and watch from a distance. He doesn't normally fight, especially when there's others to do it for him.

Oh man, fighting with the Beast watching them the entire time is gonna be kiiinda unnerving.

That's pretty high praise! Hopefully he and Percy will be able to become friends at the end of this debacle, then. Dave will definitely be very grateful to know that Percy would risk his life to help him, despite the fact that they've only spoken once.

Percy's fatal flaw is personal loyalty, man. Of course he's gonna put himself on the line.

Besides, Dave came up with something Percy hadn't even entertained the thought of. He never questioned the Heart's motives or put two and two together like that, and Dave's a coolkid.


The Beast is gonna watch all of this happen, but he'll just be quietly sitting in the back. He won't participate, but he wants to know what's going on in this weird place.
