Maybe you've been here for a while, or maybe you just got here. Either way, you're all in the same situation - you've been turned into a magical gemstone and stranded in a foreign world! And all you've been left with is the clothes on your back, stripped of all powers except one.

Clearly, you’ll just have to make the best of it.

How this works:

☆ This is a test drive for cosmographia, which means you should get a little familiar with the setting and premise.

☆ Otherwise, this is just meant to help you feel out how you may play and serves mainly as a chill interest gathering and get together kind of post! No app necessary, and you don't need to play in this post to apply - or vice versa.

☆ Everybody is welcome! There are no character limitations; pg au oc canon pigeon whatever. Just toss up a topcomment and/or jump any threads that pique your interest.

☆ Rules-wise: Be cool to yourself and others, and keep in mind the other game rules too.

☆ If you do apply to the game and are accepted, and you want to keep the CR, you may so long as what you did isn't setting breaking and everyone involved agrees.


YOUR OPTIONS:

☆ You find yourself in the Heart of a ruined temple. There is a large glowing gem that thrums with some kind of rhythm, and jewels scattered all over the room, kept in strange bubbles. At the very least, touching the large gem will give you a standard info-dump, but some of you might be a little cautious about touching weird luminescent gems. Good thing that there are other people there too!

☆ Or perhaps you already know everything there is to know, and are there in the Heart of the Ruined Temple to greet new arrivals. Or perhaps you simply had business there already, like storing away a corrupted gem from a monster, when someone new seemingly dropped in from no where.

☆ It's Farmer's Market day in the plaza of Waverly Bay! Perhaps you're there perusing the goods and strike up conversation, or accidentally bump into someone and get to know them that way. It's a fairly standard day.

☆ There's an event! You don't really know what else to call them - missions, perhaps? But something in the temple was triggered, and the glowy Heart gem has something new to "tell" you: If you want a new power, you should try telling other people two truths and a lie. Those who you interact with must try and divine the lie from your statements.

You have no idea how something this simple will get you a power, but hey.

[Twilight had been all ready and willing to go home... so finding herself falling out of a hole and onto her bottom wasn't pleasant. She stood up, rubbing at the sore spot... until pulling back in shock and looking at her hands. Not hooves, hands.]

How... how can that be?! Unless... could I still be in the other world? No, the portal was linked directly to Equestria, unless there was some kind of other force interfering, I should have ended up home. So why...huh?

[She had begun pacing and had reached a hand to her forehead. But she was surprised when she felt something on it. She rubbed her palm over it. It felt like some sort of gem. She gabbed it and gave it a tug, only to stop immediately since that only felt uncomfortable. Clearly it wasn't coming off.]

Hmm... this isn't Equestria, but it can't be the other world either. Something must have happened during the transfer back, what do you think Spike? [Silence] Spike?

[She looked around, not seeing the dragon-turned-puppy anywhere. A further problem. She felt worry strike her as she began looking around for her numbe rone assistant, hoping that he didn't wonder off or landed somewhere dangerous. She also looked around for anypony who could help her, namely what strange world she was in now.]

[Waaaaiiiit a minute. Pinkie knew that babbling and that pink-streaked purple hair anywhere!]

TWILIGHT~!

[That voice... Twilight knew that voice anywhere.]

Pinkie? [She turned around] You're here... too...?!

[And she paused when she saw that Pinkie was still a pony. How... why... what was gong on?!]

[Yup, she's a pony alright. And still hugging you!]

Yup! Me and Fluttershy have been here for about a month now, and Sunset arrived just a short time ago too! It was on the same day as my birthday party, too!

[Give Twilgiht a second, she's taking this in. Still, she returned the hug.]

I'm glad that you're alright. [She bent down] So you, Fluttershy, and Sunset are all here? Umm... are you and Fluttershy the same Pinkie and Fluttershy form my world?

Well, yeah, why wouldn't I be?

Aaaaand depends: which world are you from?

Umm... the same one where we're normally ponies?

Then YAY, we ARE from the same world! Well, kinda! THIS Fluttershy's from a SLIGHTLY different Equestria, AND she's been to other worlds before!

Fluttershy... she's been too... what?!

[She look even more confused and ready to lose it now.]

You okay, Twilight?

[It's been a while since she's seen you THIS frazzled about... well, anything.]

[Twilight took a deep breath, calming herself down as she rubbed her hand against her face.]

Yes, I'll be fine. Just... this is a lot to take in. Is Fluttershy still a pony? What about Sunset?

Yeah, Fluttershy's still a pony! Sunset's a human, though. AND really nice now~

[She sighed in relief]

Okay, good. What about Spike? He was coming with me back to Equestria after we stopped the Sirens, but he wasn't with me when I arrived here.

Oh, yeah! He hasn't shown up yet. But maybe he will a bit later! It might take a while, though.

Take a while? Then where would he be now?

[No, she wasn't starting to worry. Honestly, she wasn't.]

Traveling through the portal, maybe? Don't worry, Twilight! Fluttershy says that world hoppers usually get sent back RIGHT when they left!

So then... Spike will be okay?

Of course he will! He's probably already back home, with already-back-home you right behind him!

Oh,t hank goodness... wait, already-back-home me? So then to him, I never left?

[As if it's perfectly easy to explain.]

[That voice... could it be? She wasn't a pony, but her hair... and skin... everything just screamed 'Twilight' to her. But no. She couldn't assume that... that'd be rude.

But then she hears the word 'Equestria', and her curiosity gets the better of her. She approaches the girl... albeit very slowly.]

U-Um... hello... this is a little awkward, but... your name wouldn't happen to be Twilight Sparkle, would it?

[Twilight turned around at the sound of the voice. She didn't recognize the person, but apparently they recognized her.]

Yes, my name is Twilight Sparkle. Can I help you?

[...She doesn't recognize her. Which doesn't shock Juniper all that much, considering this Twilight's a human. Maybe... alternate universes? Is that what the other Twilight called them?]

U-Um, I'm sorry. I just... I've kind of met a Twilight Sparkle before. She was a pony. I-I don't mean to cause any confusion...

Oh it's okay! I understand. And... well I am a pony actually. I had gone to a human version of my world before being brought here and I remained in this form.

... when I have to use the same icon three times cause one expression that's like this...

R-Really? This is a little strange then... [Even being told about alternate universes, Junie can't... really parse it.] All of the explanations I've been told are over my head.
