TEST DRIVE - Part 3
Maybe you've been here for a while, or maybe you just got here. Either way, you're all in the same situation - you've been turned into a magical gemstone and stranded in a foreign world! And all you've been left with is the clothes on your back, stripped of all powers except one.
Clearly, you’ll just have to make the best of it.
How this works:
☆ This is a test drive forcosmographia, which means you should get a little familiar with the setting and premise.
☆ Otherwise, this is just meant to help you feel out how you may play and serves mainly as a chill interest gathering and get together kind of post! No app necessary, and you don't need to play in this post to apply - or vice versa.
☆ Everybody is welcome! There are no character limitations; pg au oc canon pigeon whatever. Just toss up a topcomment and/or jump any threads that pique your interest.
☆ This post will remain open until it begins to approach 5000 comments! Then a new test-drive post will be made.
☆ Rules-wise: Be cool to yourself and others, and keep in mind the other game rules too.
☆ If you do apply to the game and are accepted, and you want to keep the CR, you may so long as what you did isn't setting breaking and everyone involved agrees.
YOUR OPTIONS:
☆ You find yourself in the Heart of a ruined temple. There is a large glowing gem that thrums with some kind of rhythm, and jewels scattered all over the room, kept in strange bubbles. At the very least, touching the large gem will give you a standard info-dump, but some of you might be a little cautious about touching weird luminescent gems. Good thing that there are other people there too!
☆ Or perhaps you already know everything there is to know, and are there in the Heart of the Ruined Temple to greet new arrivals. Or perhaps you simply had business there already, like storing away a corrupted gem from a monster, when someone new seemingly dropped in from no where.
☆ It's Farmer's Market day in the plaza of Waverly Bay! Perhaps you're there perusing the goods and strike up conversation, or accidentally bump into someone and get to know them that way. It's a fairly standard day.
☆ There's an event! You don't really know what else to call them - missions, perhaps? But something in the temple was triggered, and the glowy Heart gem has something new to "tell" you: If you want a new power, you should try telling other people two truths and a lie. Those who you interact with must try and divine the lie from your statements.
You have no idea how something this simple will get you a power, but hey.

[She's hesitating but after a moment where she tightens that hug a bit before mumbling out her answer. Obviously something that hurt a lot..]

[Oh no, so the same thing happened again?! She holds Cirno a little tighter right back, her voice starting to tremble.]

[The last thing she wants is to be the one leaving someone behind and feeling alone! She knows how that feels.]

[She hopes Cirno at least had Nephenee to look after her!]

[It took a while for her to come to terms with it but still. There is a smile still on Cirno's face when she pulls back a bit and nods.]
Yeah, Sis was...is still there. But like I said, a lot of things happened. That guy who made that bad movie tried to buy the Commune and when she made a bid and made friends with him, she became a princess!
[Going to focus on the good. Not going to admit she stopped going to school.]

Holding Cirno's hands right back, she leans in to give her a soft kiss on the cheek.]

[She looks down at their hands with a gentle smile, giving a soft squeeze and idly running her thumbs along Cirno's wrists. She's not sure if Cirno's just turned down her aura more than usual, but now that they're gems, she could swear her touch isn't quite as cold. It's not warm, but it's... comfortable. And as pleasant as ever.]
We'll definitely see everyone again.
[She says it with emphasis. She didn't use the word 'promise' specifically, but that's what it is. She doesn't want to lose anyone important to her anymore, no matter how many worlds she's been in.]

[She noticed the lack of that word. One noticeable difference might be obvious after a moment. The fact there is no longer a bracelet on her wrist and there is no noticeable flinch. That lack of aura is starting to bother her a bit but for now...]
Of course we will. Even if it takes a long time and a lot of effort. Sis taught me that..besides, Good things come to those who wait and believe.

[While looking down at the hands held in her own, she does notice the bracelet missing, but it's just a curious detail to her for now. Nothing compared to the two of them being permanently human-shaped for the first time since they met. Actually, Cirno should probably be wondering why Rise's noticeably smaller than she ever was outside of dreams before. But then again, the size differences between them as human and fairy have always varied from situation to situation, so perhaps it doesn't register at all.]
I already feel better now that you're here.

[A smile at that. She wasn't so scared of this place now either. Someone she knew and trusted.]

[Hesitation..Well..School was a thing. Cirno wanted to go back but...She did refuse to return back in Equestria...even after they finally got her to come out of her room.]

[She winks playfully at Cirno, but really... it's obvious she's much shorter now than she was during that fourth wall thing. Now, it's more like when they were ponies, and Rise's only a little bit taller than the fairy.

Well... I dunno. I wasn't going to school at all in Exsilium. And they might teach different things here.
[She sighs at that thought.]

I'm sure you can prove to them that you don't have to repeat! At the very least we could ask. Although I might need to repeat..at least with math.

Probably...Geeze, as interesting as ti sounds, knowing so much history about a lot of places sounds confusing. On a test writing down a mixture of everything and having to try and explain it?
