TEST DRIVE - Part 3
Maybe you've been here for a while, or maybe you just got here. Either way, you're all in the same situation - you've been turned into a magical gemstone and stranded in a foreign world! And all you've been left with is the clothes on your back, stripped of all powers except one.
Clearly, you’ll just have to make the best of it.
How this works:
☆ This is a test drive forcosmographia, which means you should get a little familiar with the setting and premise.
☆ Otherwise, this is just meant to help you feel out how you may play and serves mainly as a chill interest gathering and get together kind of post! No app necessary, and you don't need to play in this post to apply - or vice versa.
☆ Everybody is welcome! There are no character limitations; pg au oc canon pigeon whatever. Just toss up a topcomment and/or jump any threads that pique your interest.
☆ This post will remain open until it begins to approach 5000 comments! Then a new test-drive post will be made.
☆ Rules-wise: Be cool to yourself and others, and keep in mind the other game rules too.
☆ If you do apply to the game and are accepted, and you want to keep the CR, you may so long as what you did isn't setting breaking and everyone involved agrees.
YOUR OPTIONS:
☆ You find yourself in the Heart of a ruined temple. There is a large glowing gem that thrums with some kind of rhythm, and jewels scattered all over the room, kept in strange bubbles. At the very least, touching the large gem will give you a standard info-dump, but some of you might be a little cautious about touching weird luminescent gems. Good thing that there are other people there too!
☆ Or perhaps you already know everything there is to know, and are there in the Heart of the Ruined Temple to greet new arrivals. Or perhaps you simply had business there already, like storing away a corrupted gem from a monster, when someone new seemingly dropped in from no where.
☆ It's Farmer's Market day in the plaza of Waverly Bay! Perhaps you're there perusing the goods and strike up conversation, or accidentally bump into someone and get to know them that way. It's a fairly standard day.
☆ There's an event! You don't really know what else to call them - missions, perhaps? But something in the temple was triggered, and the glowy Heart gem has something new to "tell" you: If you want a new power, you should try telling other people two truths and a lie. Those who you interact with must try and divine the lie from your statements.
You have no idea how something this simple will get you a power, but hey.

[If one is in the temple, they can find a human with rainbowed colored hair, gazing at the ruins. Rainbow Dash seems confused.]
This isn't Equestria.

[Heck, she doesn't recall falling through the portal. She expected ponies and a castle somewhere. Definitely not gems in bubbles. She's hesitant on touching the large gem though.]

[Dash is in the market, walking around. Every once in a while she ducks into a shop just to look around.
Perhaps she bumps into you by accident.]

My hair! My coiffure! It's ruined! Ah! I chipped a nail! I shouldn't have tried going through the portal, I swear this wasn't what I had in mind! My fabulousness needs touching up!

I was merely checking to see if it was open that morning when a hole shaped like myself appeared in the reflection, so obviously I went through it not realizing I would break a naaaaaaail!
[Quickly though, she sobered up as she looked at Rainbow.] Wait, when did YOU go through the portal? And is this Equestria? It's so incredibly prismatic, but the lights oh my, those need work.

I didn't go through the portal. We just got our world's Twilight transferred to our school. [Dash sets a hand down on Rarity's shoulder and looks pointy almost at the gems in bubbles] I don't think this is Equestria.
I mean, where are the ponies?

[Gazing on the gems, she squealed at the sight.] Oh my, oh MY! Such a beautiful gem! Isn't it marvelous, Rainbow? It's like the gem is calling to me...
... [wait.] You're right. If this was Equestria, there would be ponies everywhere. What about Spike? Is he here?

She thinks back to when they first met Twilight and Spike. What did Spike say he was? A dragon?]
Spike? Uh, I haven't seen any dragons around. [Or dogs either for that matter.]
Do you have any idea why gems would be trapped in bubbles? [Cause hey, this is a Rarity thing after all]

[Reaching down to one of the gems, Rarity paused before moving to another... and another.]
Oh dear... this will not do. All of these gems are cracked! None of them will suit being sewn into dresses...

[She can't keep this up! She'll just laugh, dissolve into white light with a red sun-shaped gem in the center, and grow right back to her human shape. Well. That's new.]
It's a world of magic, but it's not exactly like Equestria. Did the heart gem tell you yet?

When we come through the hole we're transformed into Crystal Gems, and we each get our own unique magic. And the longer you stay and help, the more powerful you'll get.
