TEST DRIVE - Part 3
Maybe you've been here for a while, or maybe you just got here. Either way, you're all in the same situation - you've been turned into a magical gemstone and stranded in a foreign world! And all you've been left with is the clothes on your back, stripped of all powers except one.
Clearly, you’ll just have to make the best of it.
How this works:
☆ This is a test drive forcosmographia, which means you should get a little familiar with the setting and premise.
☆ Otherwise, this is just meant to help you feel out how you may play and serves mainly as a chill interest gathering and get together kind of post! No app necessary, and you don't need to play in this post to apply - or vice versa.
☆ Everybody is welcome! There are no character limitations; pg au oc canon pigeon whatever. Just toss up a topcomment and/or jump any threads that pique your interest.
☆ This post will remain open until it begins to approach 5000 comments! Then a new test-drive post will be made.
☆ Rules-wise: Be cool to yourself and others, and keep in mind the other game rules too.
☆ If you do apply to the game and are accepted, and you want to keep the CR, you may so long as what you did isn't setting breaking and everyone involved agrees.
YOUR OPTIONS:
☆ You find yourself in the Heart of a ruined temple. There is a large glowing gem that thrums with some kind of rhythm, and jewels scattered all over the room, kept in strange bubbles. At the very least, touching the large gem will give you a standard info-dump, but some of you might be a little cautious about touching weird luminescent gems. Good thing that there are other people there too!
☆ Or perhaps you already know everything there is to know, and are there in the Heart of the Ruined Temple to greet new arrivals. Or perhaps you simply had business there already, like storing away a corrupted gem from a monster, when someone new seemingly dropped in from no where.
☆ It's Farmer's Market day in the plaza of Waverly Bay! Perhaps you're there perusing the goods and strike up conversation, or accidentally bump into someone and get to know them that way. It's a fairly standard day.
☆ There's an event! You don't really know what else to call them - missions, perhaps? But something in the temple was triggered, and the glowy Heart gem has something new to "tell" you: If you want a new power, you should try telling other people two truths and a lie. Those who you interact with must try and divine the lie from your statements.
You have no idea how something this simple will get you a power, but hey.

"Can I please go for one day without having to travel to some unknown world? I think after everything I've been through, I'd get a little vacation..." she griped. Getting pack on her hooves, she couldn't help but blink as she spotted the large gem in front of her. "Oh, wow... that's new..." she uttered, starting to move towards it in curiosity.
B) Oh, well, this was neat - Farmer's Market. Twilight's convinced that the Apples would have loved something like this as she's busy trotting around, looking at what's what. Of course, she's seeing if there's anything book-related here, the nerd.
Either way, she's probably a little too distracted and just might bump into someone if she isn't careful...

"Ah! Oh no, I wasn't looking where I was going! Here, take my handkerchief and clean yourself off, Miss! Do you need any help? Please, are you hurt? I know a little first aid...oh! Are you feeling anemic? Hold on, I'll organize a blood drive!"
A real hardcore badass always makes up for her misdeeds!

[An unfortunately familiar voice is crying out in confusion from behind Twilight as none other then The Great and Powerful Trixie sits on the ground looking in confusion, fascination and horror at her new form. Fingers, flat face. Even her horn is different, a black and white gem of a horn sits on her head parting her hair. She spots Twilight and immediately knows who to blame]
Twilight Sparkle! What have you done to Trixie!?

Well surely you must be involved! Don't think tales of your mischief have not spread far and wide! The most magical and chaotic events in Equestria always seem to lead back to you!

[ As she struggles to her feet she mutters] I owe you that much.
[OK Trixie, you've got this. You stand on your hind legs all the time on stage. These can't be too different right? Well the knees bend funny but up she goes, planting a hand on Twilight's head to help her up.]

T-Trixie is a masterful Unicorn of many talents! T-this will just be another skill to her repertoire.
[Unfortunately now that she's on her feet she catches sight of herself in the reflection of the gem and lets out a shriek sinking to her knees]

[ She looks like she's trying to focus, attempting to cast a spell, but all that happens is a firework shoots out of her horn, bounces off the ground and shoots into the air bursting into glittering blue sparks.]

[And Twilight tries an idea of her own. Her horn glows and... A plate of quesadillas lands in front of her, causing the great Princess of Friendship to shriek and hide behind a rock.]

[Well that did a good enough job of distracting her from her own worries for a moment at least. She leans in and prods one of the flowery tortillas and then recoiling when it oozes cheese]
