Monster!Percy and heartbreak, anyone?

 A few of you have probably seen this coming.

 Back, back waaay when Pyra, Akoya's Mun, posted the Zundar Needle thing, this plan has been in motion. I even drew stuff for it. Basically the plan is, Akoya accidentally fires the Zundar needle Percy's way, relationships are ruined forever and there's a monster hanging out on the beach causing minor tremors out of agitation; not enough to make buildings collapse, not by a long shot, but enough to rattle the china shops and tip over anything precariously balanced and cause some problems.

He'll also be attacking anyone who approaches out of paranoia, which will probably be a lot of you given these people and absolutely flipping if anyone tries trapping him or anything with fire. I'm honestly hoping it comes to gemming him, especially since his gem isn't really cracked.

who wants to gem him? There can only be one person in order to avoid weird alternate timelines.

I'm gonna wait an hour or two for others to come up since I just came out of school. If no one else decides to nominate their characters to gem him it's Connie.

Then again, Connie already has a high chance. She's his closest friend in the Bay.

Yes, because Connie wouldn't like the idea of anyone else going out of their way to hurt Percy, after all. That, and this will definitely add to the friction in the friendship Connie has with Akoya already.

It doesn't help that the best way to get Percy to hate a person is to betray his trust, and the Zundar Needle would be coming too fast for him to process it was an accident. And he's going to be so mad at Akoya when he comes back it's going to be painful for both of them.

Right, that makes sense. Connie will definitely be trying to assure him that Akoya didn't mean it, but the evidence will obviously make it hard for Percy to dispute.

Shun will help in the fight, even if Connie's the most likely to land the final blow. He's on pretty good terms with Percy, and he's fully aware that it's not always possible to heal a monster to stop it, so while he might not be pleased about it he'll be willing to assist in the gemming.
