Something like this would definitely be welcome. While not all players and characters would want to do it (so having it optional is already a great idea), it gives more serious characters/those who want to take a more active role a chance to get out, explore or defeat monsters. And also hey, the bounty thing would give an income source to some gems too young to find work, or unable to for other reasons.
