I'm Pengu, bringing in Dave Strider 2: Electric Boogaloo. I understand he's been here before, but I'll give a run down on him anyway. He's a bit of a try-hard coolkid. He's a huge hipster with varied interests such as raps and denial. He's also a Knight of Time, formerly blessed with time powers and now he's got some Eye Lasers that do approximately nothing useful.

I'm Usagi, I have Gongenzaka, Reira, and Masumi here. Masumi in particular had some solid CR with Dave, but since muses have come in 'twice over' before, she'll probably understand if he doesn't remember her?

Actually she might appreciate that lmao, things ended on an awkward note between them (Basically he tried to tell her someone was a Dick without explaining why. She didn't listen. ...And then the guy turned out to indeed be a dick. Oh well.)

Hey there, Pengu! Welcome to Cosmos~! ♪

I'm FoominBlue, and have two muses from Katamari Damacy, Ichigo here and Velvet. Ichigo had some pretty significant CR with Dave, but she's dealt with 'new versions' of old friends before. Plus she knew Davesprite when he was bobbing around, so.

Anyway, biggest thing of note is that Old!Dave managed to crack his gem, left it unhealed long enough to monster up, and then proceeded to poof two others back into their gems (Kurosaki and Dirk) before Jane was able to heal his gem. Unfortunately, his monster form took more than a few cues from DS, including the sword through his chest, which didn't have the courtesy of going away once he was healed. Probably because he'd used it to stab Kurosaki. So he promptly keeled over a cliff and his gem went missing for a good month or so while he went back for a canon update.

...So yeah. Decent amount of trauma which has left Ichi with a rather poor view of his usual irony and denial tactics. Not that she's ever been the biggest fan of that sort of thing, but after all of that mess... As a result, she may want to hover a bit, and basically be checking up on him to try and nudge him more towards healthy. Fun times?

Dave doesn't particularly like having to wear the responsibilities of a past Dave but he will probably be like "Damn that was stupid." So hopefully they can reconcile or something if he can stop being a dumb ass (it might be likely).

Anyways, hello! I am Stripe, and I play Jade. She's from the ret-John timeline, so she's very lonely and also very confused about the crapsack timeline that everybody else has been coming from.

In regards to Dave from the past, Jade didn't have a ton of interaction with him - mostly she knows that he died in his timeline, but he claimed it was doing something "stupid and not heroic" so she assumes that he just got pulled back via god tier revival. She might be a bit confused that he doesn't remember Waverly Bay, but past that there shouldn't be much to work around! She's just going to be very glad to have her friend back.

I'm really excited to have a Jade, man. They're super hard to come by, Dave is going to be pretty damn chuffed to see her alive (though admittedly he tends to agree with past Dave re: heroics). BUT YES he will be glad too, time to get back to being bros and drawing furry fan art for her like he was destined to do.

It's so weird to me that Jades are apparently rare on DWRP, since I feel like every other RP place I've been for Homestuck has been inundated with them.

I've never rp'd much outside of DWRP but I do see her around a lot more in the outside fandom. It's such a strange phenomenon. BUT THEN it's really hard to find a lot of the Beta Kids.

She can now have brand new copies to plaster all over everything since he is suddenly inundated with free time and someone to actually present his hard work too. Meteor time is a write off when nobody appreciates the nuances of furry OCs.

That's true!! It's so weird - since moving to DWRP like four months ago I have seen exactly two other Jades, like fifty Daves, and absolutely zero Roses or Johns. Which is a tragedy. I would probably commit crimes to have a John and/or Rose in this game.

And soon Waverly Bay will be overrun by furry OCs. Truly, the residents will know no greater terror.

Dave is super interested in getting to know her too (I am hopelessly in love with the fact that they play twenty questions in the other timeline) so we definitely need all the bonding threads. She might chip away at his dumb Strider facade pretty easy.

So Usagi mentioned a couple comments up that the previous Dave tried to tell Masumi about a certain guy being a dick? This is said certain guy, and he effectively broke contact with the previous Dave on very bad terms.

In terms of stuff that's likely to affect this Dave, Shun's likely to be skeptical of his judgement/behaviour/coolkid front/many many things, because an incident gave him all of the previous Dave's memories up to...just before [S] Cascade, I do believe, so he knows about Dave's general personal issues up to that point. He also loathes Bro with a fiery passion due to that, but he's not likely to bring it up unprompted. I'm happy to hash out the details over Plurk because this is a bit of an odd CR case.

That said, nice to see another Dave in the game! I SHOULD PROBABLY INTRODUCE MYSELF TOO I'm Revise, hope you have fun around here!

Hiya! I gotta be honest, I'm not really comfortable with that kind of CR, like specifically coming into a situation where one person has that much over him. Especially since I don't know a lot about how the other Dave interprets his canon. If it's alright with you, it's something I'd like to avoid.

That's cool! Shun made a pretty explicit point of not telling anyone Dave's shit and nothing at all good came of the situation where that happened anyway, so honestly once he establishes it's a different Dave he'd more than likely not bring it up at all - hell, I could have him lose the memories that were exchanged in a canon update or something. Of course, if you'd prefer to avoid CR with Shun altogether regardless of that, that's cool too.

Aces! It's definitely a weird CR case, so making it as comfortable as possible is pretty much my top priority here. I was planning to update Shun soon anyway, so that solves the memories issue - other than that, pretty much everything else would only come up on a "getting him up to date" basis the first time they met (though I imagine other muses would get to that first? Previous Dave's gem monster form stabbed and poofed Shun once, as I believe someone's already mentioned, and that happened in front of a couple of others).

I've actually got a character that knows Dave from... another... game. Maya Fey, Ace Assistant!

She was in Dangan Roleplay with another Dave, and thus kind of knows what Dave is like/would be eager to befriend another version of him-- but she does know that other universes exist and would totally not make a huge deal out of Dave re-existing. Obviously, that Dave is not this Dave, and she's probably not going to press him or even mention anything about knowing him if she can avoid it mostly because she actually doesn't want to talk super much about R3, anyway.

THAT SAID, because of her closeness with that Dave, she'd especially love to be friends (again, for her) when she gets the chance to meet him! I've been busy with school the past few weeks but I'd love to make some plans anyway!

Aha! I, like many people, stalked quite a bit of that round. Not fully because damn it moves fast, but enough to know that the Dave there was awesome as heck. Actually everyone was awesome as heck. It was a dope round.

EITHER WAY he might be a little iffy about it at first because he's been inundated with his past existence in his first day, but he's too clingy as a person to really turn away someone who genuinely seems to like some iteration of him. So, he'd definitely want to keep up the friendship as he starts to know her better as he starts to relax about the possibility that he embarrassed himself in an alternate dimension (normal people problems).

Juice is also a good example of how easy he is to win over, tho.


It was a really fun read, and that's awesome. I'd love to throw my Dave at them when they show up, I'll deffo keep my eye out like a horrendously creepy stalker.
