Hi, just joined the game with Ultron from the recent movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.

Last world he was in, he tried to end it; second time around, aiming for less doomsday. Fallout from actually trying to cause an extinction-level event and getting dragged to a new world is apparently enough to make a young A.I. start maybe rethinking things, even just a little bit.

His first power is flight, and the gem Almandine (a variety of garnet) is embedded on his chest.

I can be reached via PM's here at Dreamwidth. Looking forward to playing with everyone here. :)

Hey there, welcome to the game!

Ichi actually got flight for her first power too. Will he need any lessons?

Oh, good! Ichigo's had some adjustment issues with flying, due to being used to drawing on a different source of power and all, but she's gotten the hang of it. Past experience definitely helps in this regard~

And yeah, technically our bodies are just projected/generated by the Gem. So taking damage that would normally be fatal just poofs us back into the Gem, so long as the Gem itself isn't damaged.

The series hasn't gone too deeply into what it's like from the regenerator's point of view yet; we've pretty much got just what Steven's observed from the outside. Short of him getting 'poofed' himself (WHICH NOBODY WANTS TO HAPPEN)...

Most of what the show canon has given us comes from the episodes 'Steven the Sword Fighter' and 'Reformed'. We know that if your body takes a fatal wound, you automatically retreat back into your Gem until you can recreate a new body. You seem to have some ability to dictate/decide your new form; in the series, when the Crystal Gems go through this, they come out with new outfits.

It's possible to rush through this process and reform your body ASAP, buuuut these forms tend to be... unbalanced. Watching those two episodes should give you a better grasp on the process, if you're not familiar with SU already.
