OOC: Aventurine Event

Greetings, Walker here! Some of you may remember that there's been an ongoing plan with Berry and Jane to fuse into Aventurine and just...never unfuse because Aventurine is crazy?

IT'S HAPPENING

Not now, of course - the current plan is for it to happen a couple days after the karaoke festival. The basics of the event are this: There's going to be a short window where you can chat with Aventurine before she reveals she never plans to unfuse. Once that happens, you'll have the chance to either fight her or talk her down. It will also be possible to talk directly to Berry and Jane and encourage them to separate! It's completely up to you which you choose, of course!

Hey, everyone! This is Yue, who plays Dave Strider, and this time I'm bringing you guys the Batter from OFF!

Since OFF is a game that is widely open to individual player interpretations, I've left an info post up on my journal to give you guys an idea of how I've chosen to interpret the game for my portrayal of the Batter. It's a bit tl;dr, though, so the short version of it is that the Batter is a condescending, manipulative jerk with a messiah complex, and he just so happens to be very successful at masquerading as a benevolent savior. Mortis once mentioned that OFF was in part inspired by Paranoia Agent, and there are some obvious parallels between Lil Slugger and the Batter, so I see the Batter as a false prophet of sorts - one who offers the suffering masses an easy way out. But unlike Lil Slugger, the Batter's solution is a bit more permanent.

Anyway, he'll be a lot calmer in Cosmos because, as far as he's concerned, he's already completed his primary objective (see: beat everyone in his world to death with his bat so that they don't have to suffer anymore). Depending on how his stay goes, that may eventually change.

Again, I can be found at inkscapes if you ever need to contact me about anything! And even though he's absolutely insufferable (I seem to have a knack for picking up insufferable pricks for some reason), I hope you guys will have fun playing with him!

Hey guys, it's super awkward new-to-dreamwidth player wwwayfarer here presenting you with the most simultaneously level-headed, sassy and tempermental character ever, Percy Jackson. I'm not even sure if I'm supposed to post this here.

Hi, I'm Zoki, player of Sunset Shimmer and Doc Brown, and I'm not done tormenting y'all just yet! I bring you a face you may know if you were hip all up on the internet trends of the early 2000s. This is Strong Bad, hailing from the internet cartoon named after the wrong character, Homestar Runner. The Strobro is a supposed bad boy, alleged wrestler, and frequent email-answerer who's perpetually trapped in the 80s. Also, he hates all y'all.

...or does he? Before being turned into a gem, he had a grand ol' time in mylittlejamjar, where unfortunate ponies did their very best to teach him the magic of friendship. And they succeeded, at least in part! As a result he's somewhat friendlier than his canon counterpart, and less likely to unleash a torrent of insults on someone unprovoked. But he can still be a bit of a grouchy Gus at times. The app is here if you'd like to know anything else!
