Hello everyone! It's getting close to the end of the month and I thought it would be great to put up a CR meme, especially with new people showing up and all! Down below is a box to help you get started. Let us know what your character has been up to! What are their future plans? What are they currently up to? Tag around and bounce ideas off of other people to see where CR could potentially take you in game!

Character's Name: Pearl

What has your character been up to?
She has been rather busy as of late! Trying to make sense of everything in Waverly Bay. On and off, she can be seen in town, collecting machine parts and items, having collected momeny doing odd jobs around the city, such as fixing machinery and so on.

What are your future plans for your character?
I'm pretty open for the time being! Pearl has been trying o adjust to being the only experienced Gem around here. Hopefully, someday, she can calm down and take a breather. But for the time being, she has found no reason to slow down just yet.

Is there a certain type of CR you're looking for?
I would love some conflict. Something to really tear Pearl away from her worries and just act. She needs something that will really push her to be her own Gem, and just stand for herself. She's been worrying about everyone so much, she doesn't look after herself. She doesn't want to be praised. She wants someone to work along side with! Also I'm totally down for rivals and anything of the sort. c: And if you think Pearl would get along with your character, cool! We can always plot.

Is there anything people should take note of about your character?
Pearl is very peculiar with who she talks to. It's just how she is. She's probably one of the more introverted of Gems. She talks passionately about certain things (like Gem history and her small hobbies). Other times she'll find things to busy her time with. If your character is a grease monkey, or anything of the sort, I'm sure Pearl will be more than willing to talk nerd with ya.

Anything else you'd like to add?

So I believe it is canon that, while Pearl does not eat, she likes to make pie. Perhaps she and Jane can talk about the construction of pie?

Yes she does like to make pie! They could indeed bond over such a delightful pastery!

HOLOGRAMS.

Obvs the chances are that Masumi wouldn't have gotten around to mentioning it in the thread they have now since. Yea not the best time to ask about 'heyyyyy i need teachings'. But if there's a chance she could ask for some hologram projecting advice that'd be cool.

Masumi also tends to be pretty bluntly clear when things aren't working right so maybe that could help with the matter of not looking after herself? ~~Or maybe Pearl just finds out about certain Peri associations and shit hits the fan AHA~~

On that note if THE MAN is someone she'd be cool working alongside with I would so be down with that. He's pretty huge on strength of mind/accepting when you need to sit back and BREATHE so.

AHAH Well Pearl can look after herself, she just tends to worry too much about things, and tends to get disorganized that way.

We can see what we can do with both!

I'd love a chance to thread with Pearl - Ondorus is a super newbie, but he gets that Being The Responsible One feeling and I think that after like ten seconds of talking with her he'd decide to try to at least support her emotionally.

He's also a booknerd extraordinaire and would happily listen to an hour-long lecture on gem history.

Yes there will be plenty of chances to thread with Pearl! As of late I've been terrible with tags, but I hope to improve after my Europe trip in June. c:

during their first meeting Pearl reminded Adachi of his partner juuuuust a little bit, enough that it stuck with him at least

Greg has told Kyouko that she should go to Pearl about learning more about the gems. Would love these two to meet, especially since Kyouko is struggling to figure out what her powers are right now!

I have been meaning to tag Kyouko! Sadly I am canon-blind to her canon, but I don't spoilers, so you're more than welcomed to throw them at me!

I would also love for them to meet! I will be sure to throw Pearl at her.

Ultron has heard about you as someone who was already a gem, and would be very interested in meeting you.

This ~~murder~~bot will be getting back into fiddling with machinery, so maybe some nerd chats.

Also, open to conflict.

AHAH It seems as though a lot of people are interested in meeting her. Curse her being a native gem! It's all good though!

We'll see how she reacts to Ultron!

HELL YEAH DOC. I will be sure to throw her his way whenever I can.

Ichi keeps recommending to new folks who want to learn more about Gems that they should talk to Pearl and Lapis. I wonder how Pearl'd feel about that when she finds out?

Aside from that, if Ichi picks up that Pearl's not entirely confident as a leader and needs some encouragement, she's likely to give it to her. And be reminded of her cousin the Dashing Prince a bit. ~~Or the RoboKing. Which may be more apt, but also way more worrying, given what he ended up doing...~~

Gosh yeah she needs some encouragement. SADLY I THINK SHE'LL SHOOT IT DOWN, but you never know in RP land! I'd be down for this.

Connie's let Pearl be, figuring that she'd need the space for talking to other would be gems and resolving things with Lapis.

Now that she's dating Steven and learning the sword though? She'll be looking for Pearl's help and some advice.
