I'd worry about the effectiveness of "pickup arts" if I ever was intending to pick someone up.

[That's rather dry. He barely knows what "picking up" is supposed to mean and that's because he's heard others here use the term, but either way he's still an emotional brick.]

That'd depend on why it bothered you.

It might if I understood that area of emotions better, but as it is, I tune most insults and taunts out.

[He kind of had to learn to do that, dealing with Academia and their cries of "Xyz scum" and "Xyz dogs", like he and his world were less than human.]
