Maybe you've been here for a while, or maybe you just got here. Either way, you're all in the same situation - you've been turned into a magical gemstone and stranded in a foreign world! And all you've been left with is the clothes on your back, stripped of all powers except one.

Clearly, you’ll just have to make the best of it.

How this works:

☆ This is a test drive for cosmographia, which means you should get a little familiar with the setting and premise.

☆ Otherwise, this is just meant to help you feel out how you may play and serves mainly as a chill interest gathering and get together kind of post! No app necessary, and you don't need to play in this post to apply - or vice versa.

☆ Everybody is welcome! There are no character limitations; pg au oc canon pigeon whatever. Just toss up a topcomment and/or jump any threads that pique your interest.

☆ Rules-wise: Be cool to yourself and others, and keep in mind the other game rules too.

☆ If you do apply to the game and are accepted, and you want to keep the CR, you may so long as what you did isn't setting breaking and everyone involved agrees.


YOUR OPTIONS:

☆ You find yourself in the Heart of a ruined temple. There is a large glowing gem that thrums with some kind of rhythm, and jewels scattered all over the room, kept in strange bubbles. At the very least, touching the large gem will give you a standard info-dump, but some of you might be a little cautious about touching weird luminescent gems. Good thing that there are other people there too!

☆ Or perhaps you already know everything there is to know, and are there in the Heart of the Ruined Temple to greet new arrivals. Or perhaps you simply had business there already, like storing away a corrupted gem from a monster, when someone new seemingly dropped in from no where.

☆ It's Farmer's Market day in the plaza of Waverly Bay! Perhaps you're there perusing the goods and strike up conversation, or accidentally bump into someone and get to know them that way. It's a fairly standard day.

☆ There's an event! You don't really know what else to call them - missions, perhaps? But something in the temple was triggered, and the glowy Heart gem has something new to "tell" you: If you want a new power, you should try telling other people two truths and a lie. Those who you interact with must try and divine the lie from your statements.

You have no idea how something this simple will get you a power, but hey.

[Well that sure is a small...colorful pony in the temple. She seems a bit nervous as she glances around, her wings tucked in a bit tighter - wait, wings?]

[you know there's a lot that's pretty weird about all this but instead Mikoshiba is just going to be stoked about there being an adorable talking pink haired baby horse]

[Ears twitching a bit, she glances over, smiling a bit shyly.]

O-Oh...um...y-yes, I do...

[claps his hands a few times in excitement, bouncing on his feet a little

then he calms down as he sees her shyness]

I'm Mikoshiba, what's your name?

O-Oh...I-I'm Fluttershy...It's...nice to meet you, Mikoshiba...

[Luckily, she's not going to be alone for long. A familiar face glomps her the moment she wakes up, a blue stone now in the middle of her chest.]

Hey, Fluttershy~!

[She can't help jumping a bit, startled, until she realizes who it was in front of her.]

O-Oh...! Pinkie...!

[spontaneouscombustion]

[She lets the hug linger for a moment before pulling back, beaming at Fluttershy.]

Did you find those weird hole thingies and get sucked in too?

O-Oh yes...! So you saw it too?

[Talking pony! This is Mabel's dream come true, look at that, look at her, she's so pretty and cute and she can probably FLY oh my gosh it's a technicolour pegasus, whispering in delighted awe]

So beautiful!

[Fluttershy turns at the voice, blinking in surprise. She recognized that voice...]

O-Oh...! M-Mabel...?

The tables have turned!

[What huh the pony knows my name?? BUT HOW?]

That's right! I'm a Mabel, how'd you know? [Gasps] Am I an 80s cartoon too?

Dun dun duuuuuuun!

O-Oh... [Not a Mabel she knew.]

N-No...sorry...I-I...you remind me of someone I...met before...

Um...M-My name's Fluttershy...

[It seemed only fair that she should offer her own name, since she already knew Mabel's.]

Again? This is an "again" situation for you?

[... says the dog in the corner who's been trying to sniff his way through the temple.]

[She glances over, and - oh, a dog!]

Oh...yes, sort of...

[Yes indeed, a dog. With a cool hairstyle, yellow glasses, and a question mark on his collar.]

Well that's, uh... good to know. You'd think in a place as clean as this I'd be able to get a scent, but noooo, that's not the case...

[Ok, that stops the girl in her tracks-bad enough its a pony THAT TALKS, but its what she says that catches her attention].

Again? Do you travel worlds, Miss...pegasus?

[Ears twitching a bit, she glances up with a sheepish smile.]

I-It's...happened once or...twice before...

U-Um...y-you can call me Fluttershy...

[Hmm. She seemed nice enough, and about as willing to step out into the open as she did. That put Connie a little at ease].

Oh, that's fascinating, though I admit I'd be a little disoriented by something like that. This, though, is a little shocking to me, I'll admit, since this is also familiar.

Fluttershy? Nice to meet you, that's a pretty name. I'm Connie!

[There's a... slightly larger pigtailed human girl walking around the temple, until she happens to glance over and spot a very familiar pink mane. And a very particular pin.... It couldn't be. Her voice squeaked a little.]

....N-Neechan...?

[Fluttershy's ears twitched a little at the title, and with a blink she turned around.

There was only one person who used that in reference to her, but...]

Chiyo...?

[Her face breaks out in the biggest smile.]

I-It is you! [brb running to hug big sis]

[Fluttershy might hear a series of mild frustrated noises coming from a slightly taller orange fox. He doesn't... seem happy... but his red scarf should look rather familiar.]

Nnngh... not this crap again...

[Fluttershy blinked, turning to the voice. She knew the sounds of frustration well.]

Um...excuse me...?

[And he recognized that voice pretty well, too. He turned around, and though he kept his rather ticked off look for just a second, he calmed down afterward.]

...Fluttershy? [That was definitely a dragonfly pin in her mane. This was definitely the Fluttershy he's most familiar with.]
