THE MUSICAL MOTIF MEME

"Each Gem in Steven Universe possesses a certain musical motif that plays during certain parts of the show. When Gems fuse, their musical motifs merge into a completely different genre of music."

As Cosmographia is based on Steven Universe, a few people, including myself, thought it would be cool to have a meme based around the idea of the musical motifs that are present in the show! There's not a whole lot of restrictions here: link your character's theme song, any theme songs for fusions that are associated with them, or simply use this as a way to pimp out cool music from your canon!

I also noticed that the Season 2 promos have been using Weird Science by Oingo Boingo, so I associate that song with Rick now, too.

WEIRD SCIENCE IS ABSOLUTELY ONE OF MY FAVORITE RICK SONGS. For some reason, a lot of songs by Oingo Boingo-ish bands remind me of him?? The main ones I can think of on the top of my head are Road Trip by Ninja Sex Party, Dragon Slayer by the same band, and I Am A Scientist by The Dandy Warhols.

NINJA SEX PARTY FITS HIM A LOT, I was so happy when I saw his intro post with the lyrics in the title! Man, yes, all of those songs fit perfectly. I also see him as a bit of a Talking Heads guy as well.
