THE MUSICAL MOTIF MEME

"Each Gem in Steven Universe possesses a certain musical motif that plays during certain parts of the show. When Gems fuse, their musical motifs merge into a completely different genre of music."

As Cosmographia is based on Steven Universe, a few people, including myself, thought it would be cool to have a meme based around the idea of the musical motifs that are present in the show! There's not a whole lot of restrictions here: link your character's theme song, any theme songs for fusions that are associated with them, or simply use this as a way to pimp out cool music from your canon!

Sunset has a theme! My Past Is Not Today, some triumphant noise about her downfall as a villain and rebirth as a decent human. Most of her melodies feature her favorite instrument, guitar.

Strong Bad's theme is...probably kitschy synth, like this: the instrumental of his theme from the game. Trogdor-style riffs are too cool for him, he's ridiculous.

Doc doesn't seem to have an official theme or any song connected to him specifically, so I can only speculate. I think a piece from the spaghetti western theremin orchestra is appropriate---simultaneously futuristic and old-fashioned like he is.

The best thing about Strong Bad's theme is that it's totally a leitmotif in that game too. I know it's in the theme for The Field and I kinda forget where else? But still.

Yup! It's all about his weirdo head getting everywhere and making a mess of things. Kinda cute.

...also I'm not on the right account anymore but if he ever fuses with Rick for some godawful reason, this absolutely has to be their fusion theme.

I'm throwing this out there. After listening to Strong Bad's theme, the music went to "America's Funniest Home Video (A Salute to Boneheads)"

I think that tune is going to be forever associated with him, now.
